How can I cancel my app store-subscription purchase (iOS)?

Subscription-store purchases such as MyRouteYou plus are automatically renewed and managed under your subscriptions in the App Store. We, RouteYou, cannot stop this automatic extension of your subscription. In addition, removing the app will not stop the current subscription. However, you can manage all subscriptions yourself and, if desired, stop using the App Store. Next steps describe this:

  1. Go to settings on your Iphone or Ipad
  2. Then go to iTunes and App, and then press' Apple ID' (top)
  3. Then press' show Apple Apple ID' button
  4. Now press Subscription now
  5. You will see your current subscriptions now. If you have purchased an ongoing subscription through the App Store, it is listed in this overview and you can cancel the subscription by pressing the corresponding item.

You must stop a subscription at least 24 hours before the automatic renewal. If you do not cancel your subscription in time, you will have to pay again for the same period. You can cancel your subscription, but you will still be able to use the current subscription for the paid period. If you still want to renounce your renewed purchase, you can request a review within 14 days (rightofwithdrawal). You should also apply for this review in the App Store via the' Report a Problem' that is also shown on your invoice that you receive from your renewal.

  1. Open the Google Play Store
  2. Press "Menu", then press "Subscriptions".
  3. Find the current subscription you want to stop
  4. Now follow the instructions on the screen

You can manage your subscriptions on your personal purchase page on RouteYou. However, a subscription cancellation must be done before the renewal date mentioned on this purchase page. If you do not cancel your subscription on time, you will still pay for the renewed period. If you still want to cancel your renewed purchase, please contact us within 48 hours.
