General flow
The following main steps are followed

Plan a route step by step
A route in 3 steps
Using the map option
- Go to the place where you want to start your route (type the address next to the button Go at the top)
- Click on the map to indicate your start point
- Click on the map to indicate your end point
A route is now calculated. You can print or save the route (see below)
Using the address option
- Type in the starting address in the left bar
- Type in the intermediate or end address in the left bar (and repeat)
- ]Type in the end address

More options in planning a route
- You can reposition the via point (green points on the map) by clicking on them and dragging to a new position
- You can add an intermediate point via the map (suppose you want to create an intermediate point between point 3 and 4 of the waypoints you already created -> click on point 3 to activate it -> it becomes red -> click on the map to create your extra intermediate point -> the route is recalculated from point 3 via your new intermediate point toward point 4)
- You can add an intermediate point via the address list on the left (click on the point in the list where you want to create an intermediate point after (e.g. point 2) -> type in the address in the address field -> you created now an intermediate point between point 2 and point 3
Print a route
Once you created a route, you can simply print it, by selecting the Print module. The route is split over several maps and you get the streetname instructions.
Save a route and put the route on your GPS
Once you created a route, you can save it, by selecting the Save module.
- Enter a name and description and press submit
- The route becomes available within a minute in the RouteViewer
- There you will see the download options (GPX, Garmin, TomTom, KMZ, a print, SmartPhone format.)
