What is a RouteYou code
A lot of web pages on RouteYou have a unique code = the RouteYou code. It is a short code such as "&rmkpkv" for example. It always starts with an "&" followed by a number of letters. The code includes a reference to the specific url of the page in question and allows it to be quickly found in our website.
This unique RouteYou code is a convenient alternative for those who prefer not to use a QR code.

How to use the code?
Through following steps, you can use the code to quickly search the site for the relevant page:
- Go to the main menu via the button at the top left of your screen
- Scroll down until you see the 'Search in the site' search bar
- Enter the unique RouteYou code here and press the button with the magnifying glass

What do you do with it?
Some applications
- You publish a magazine or brochure about a route/trail and you put the unique RouteYou code in it. A user can now enter that code on RouteYou and thus has direct digital access to the route on his/her smartphone.
- You make a brochure with lots of places of interest, but you can't put all the info in that brochure about those places of interest. Then put that info with the places of interest on the RouteYou website and use the unique RouteYou code of the group containing the collection of sights.
- You have an event where people would like more info about the route, stops,.... Or to be navigated along the route.
