Which discount?

Do you manage a Premium account (or higher) on behalf of your club or organisation? The members of your club or organisation can receive a 30% discount on their purchase of a Plus account. This is just one of the many advantages of a Premium account for your club. Read all about it here.

Please note! You can try out a Premium account for free for 1 month. The discount offer will not work during the trial period! Your Premium account must therefore be fully active (i.e. out of the trial period) before your members can take advantage of the discount.

How does it work?

You have to identify the members of your club or organisation in order for us to be able to grant them a discount.

What steps should you take?

  1. Create a group in your (club) account (for instance: ‘Members of the Pedal Demons’).
    • Find out how to create a group here.
    • Select ‘Club’ when indicating the type of group. Please note! The discount will only work if you opt for ‘Club’.
    • If you already have a group, you can change the settings to ‘Club’. Find out how to do this here.
  2. Add members to your group. Find out how to do this here.

What steps should your members take?

  1. Your members will receive an invitation e-mail to join your group.
    • Of course, they can refuse to join.
    • We are sometimes asked whether this is GDPR-compliant. Read here to find out why this is the case.
  2. If they respond positively, they can upgrade their account to a Plus account.
    • Here we explain how you can upgrade to a Plus account.
    • Because we know that the person is linked to a Premium account via a group (club), we can automatically grant the discount. The discount will be applied when paying.

The underlying structure

Your club account is linked to a number of individual accounts (1-11 in this example) via groups. Your members do not all have to subscribe to a Plus account. But, of course, they can choose to do so. You can also divide your members into different groups (e.g. the Wednesday cyclists as group A, the Saturday cyclists as group B, ...).

Frequently Asked Questions

What if my club cancels their Premium account? Can I still benefit from the discount?

If you order a Plus account while your club has an active Premium account, you will receive a discount. If your club’s Premium account is stopped the day after your order, you will still receive the discount for the full period of your purchased Plus account. If you purchase a Plus subscription after your club’s Premium account has ended, then, of course, you are no longer entitled to the discount. 

I already have a Plus account, purchased without a discount. Do I get a discount the next time?

Yes. Please note that if you have activated 'automatic renewal' when purchasing your subscription, you must first stop it. Otherwise your Plus subscription will continue under the previous conditions. Read here how you can stop the automatic renewal
