What is a node network
A node network is a specific selection of roads and paths forming a closed network (graph) used for recreational purposes such as cycling, hiking, horseback riding, ... The nodes ( intersections) get a number. This makes it possible to display a track with a set of numbers. In the field, you have signs indicating how to go frmo one node to the connected node (see figure above).
It is very popular in Belgium and Netherlands, Belgium but also already in France & Germany.
