Sharing RouteYou information
On a lot of RouteYou pages you will find the Share button : 
Behind this button are a lot of useful options to share the content of that page quickly and easily:
- Depending on the type of page (route, POI, channel, group, news, ...) you will first get a set of options such as
- Add to favorites = share the route with yourself (read more about that here)
- Submit as 'Recommended' = share the route with RouteYou (read more about that here)
- Comments = the ability to share information with the author of the information/page
- Do/Done = here you can keep track of your activity (read more about that here)
- Private chat = the ability to communicate privately with someone (read more about that here)
- Follow account = the ability to follow a particular RouteYou user or RouteYou channel (read more about that here)
- Join = exclusive to groups.
- Add to route = available at places of interest.
- Next are a number of standalone options to easily share the information from that page digitally and/or on paper:
- Copy link: allows you to quickly copy the link of that page, or a shortened version of it, for sharing
- QR code: simple, compact and visually recognizable way to make a url accessible (read more about that here)
- RouteYou code: unique short code that allows you to very quickly search for a specific RouteYou page (read more about that here)
- Embed: Iframe code to visualize the route on your own website or blog (Read more about that here).
- Finally, we also offer some options to share directly through specific digital channels
- direct links to share via popular social media or chat channels: Facebook, Whatsapp, ...
- ability to email the page directly to acquaintances, friends, family, ...
