Find a route using the map of the RouteSearcher
Go to the RouteSearch page of RouteYou.

General search options using the map
- Pan and zoom the map to go to the area of your interest
- If there are a few routes in an area, they are clustered in a clusterbox (grey). One of the many routes in the clusterbox is displayed with an icon. You can click on the grey clusterbox to zoom in till you see all the individual routes.
- The list on the right shows the displayed routes on the map (not all the routes in that area!)
- When you move the mouse over the route icon on the map or in the list, you can see the track of the route displayed on the map
- You want to see the route in the RouteViewer? Just click on the icon.
Finetune your search of routes
- Click on the route type at the top (walk, bicycle, motor, other,...) to select the types you want to see on the map
- Looking for something specific? Enter a keyword in the searchfield. Don't even bather to press enter. The search engine start looking in the area of your map right away when you stop typing.
- You want to go to a specific area, but you don't know where that is? Use the address search option.

Advanced search options
Selecte the tab 'More options' to activate the advanced search option on RouteYou.
There is a large set of options to finetune your search:
Auto zoom
When selecting the auto-zoom, the map pans and zooms in on the area of the results (queried routes). When the auto-zoom is swithced off, the map will not automatically pan or zoom, but your area is fixed (unless you pan or zoom manually). The results (if any) will be displayed in your map area.Groups, characteristics, distances, quality,...
You can search routes based on specific attributes of a route (e.g. quality, charachteristics,... )Select the criteria from the menu. The moment you select one item, the result will be calucalted. You can add on search criteria.
Finding back your routes
You can find your own route through:- Log on
- Click on My space in the main menu
- In the list of My routes you can find your route(s)
